  1. Hello,
Can I just ask (maybe silly but never been to any of these before) what is the Pure in Heart? And what’s the difference between that and the Corpus Christi prayer group in Covent Garden? Then I am aiming to come to the Mass at Westminster Cathedral on Sunday. Bit daunting when you haven’t been before!

    • Hi Lauren, Pure in Heart is a prayer group based on John Paul II’s teaching on Theology of the Body. We meet every Wednesday, 7pm at Maria Assumpta chapel, Heythrop College, Kensington Square. It starts with an hour of adoration, and then we move next door to Milleret House for tea/coffee, a talk, and small group discussion. Then at 9:30 we go to the pub! We’re taking a break for the summer, but our next meeting is September 2nd. Please feel free to join us!

I’ve never been to the Corpus Christi group myself, so I’m not sure what it’s like.

I have to agree that mass at the Cathedral is a bit daunting for a newcomer! I know that because it was the first place I went to mass when I moved here from Canada a year and a half ago. I would recommend my parish – St Patrick’s Soho. A lot of young adults go to the 11am mass, and there’s tea afterwards! Don’t hesitate to email me if you have any other questions:

      Take care 🙂

  2. Thank you Hannah and is the Soul Food on on Thursday & the Mass atCathedral followed by social? Or both finished until September too?
