We begin our journey at Domus Mariae Centre, Chigwell on Thursday 23 October with supper at 6pm and depart after lunch on Sunday 26 October.
Corso Zero is an initiative of our Franciscan brothers from Assisi. They will lead the event and share with us their experience and enthusiasm for this unique program which they have developed for over 25 years in Assisi and have already initiated the program in other European cities. It’s now in London for the first time!
Why ‘Corso Zero?’ or ‘Course Zero’ in English?
The literal translation doesn’t convey the ideals of the program. It means to begin at ground level, to initiate a new way of looking at my life’s journey and ultimately, where God is making God’s presence known in me.
What is my history, my dreams, my desires? What roads lie open to me?
The content of the program is based upon an inner journey through different cities, we will journey together as pilgrims. The only physical journey in this pilgrimage will be a day visit to Cold Ash Franciscan Centre near Newbury.
Cost: the course will be subsidised by the Franciscan friars (OFM) and depending on numbers we hope to keep the cost under £70.00 full board, coach journey included (return journey from Chigwell to Cold Ash).
Corso Zero takes place at Domus Mariae Centre, 803 Chigwell Road, Woodford Bridge, Essex IG8 8AU.
Nearest station: Chigwell
The centre is about 15 min walk from the station.
